Moz considers factors like linking root domains, total number of links, and their proprietary spam score when calculating DA. The metric is updated roughly monthly when Moz recrawls the web.
Domain Rating Explained
Domain Rating is Ahrefs' metric for measuring the strength of a website's backlink profile. It focuses purely on the quantity and quality of backlinks, scoring sites from 0 to 100 on a logarithmic scale.
DR is updated more frequently than DA, typically reflecting new links within days of Ahrefs discovering them.
